Rules



1. Only undergraduate students may participate.

2. Participants entries must be as a team of maximum 2 members.

3. Each team will have to submit an abstract of their report. The abstract should be concise in about 250-300words.

4. Participants should specify which category their paper belongs to (refer to categories for Paper Presentation on PRAGYAA 2013 ChemSpark Paper Presentation webpage).

5. Participants will have to send the abstract of the topic, along with their names, name of college and contact numbers through email for short listing. Abstracts are to be mailed to chemsparkppt@gmail.com and the last date of submission of abstract is 25th March 2013. The subject line of the email should be of the form “Chemspark Paper: (topic name) (category name)”.

6. The abstract should cover the review of the whole paper with brief mention of all the main aspects considered and conclusions along with its practical viability. The selection of the paper will be informed through email. (Please provide participant’s mobile numbers, email addresses, college name, year of study and branch of study of ALL the members of the team).

7. Time allotted for each presentation will be 8-10 minutes which will be followed by the questionnaire round by our judges.

8. Each team will have to carry three hard copies of their paper.

9. The report on the topic is to be prepared concisely with the maximum of 15 pages.

10. Entries selected under paper presentation category will have to submit one soft copy of report in word format prior to the event as intimated by us and three hard copies during the presentation.


11. The report should be prepared in Times New Roman font (size 12) using 1.5 line spacing.

12. List of symbols used in the text and list of references must be provided at the end of the report.

13. References must be properly cited in the main text of the paper, including figures and wherever required. In the text the reference should be cited with author's name and year. (Author, Name of book/ article/ thesis/ patent, volume number, page numbers, year).

14. Organizer reserves the rights to change any or all above rules as they deem it.
